LGBTQ+ Care

At UPMC St. Margaret we are dedicated to understanding the health needs of the LGBTQ+ community and preparing residents to provide compassionate, inclusive care. UPMC St. Margaret Hospital has been designated as a Healthcare Equality Index Leader by the Human Right Campaign.  We address health disparities within the LGBTQ+ community and the importance of delivering evidence-based preventive care in our educational and clinical efforts, at the same time that we serve every patient with their unique health needs. Our FHCs are known in the community as a safe and welcoming place for all patients to seek primary care. In fact, Lawrenceville Family Health Center has received recognition as an Integrated Care Clinic within the UPMC system.
