I was born in St. Louis, MO, but mostly grew up in Seattle, WA. After high school, I flew across the country to attend Howard University where I majored in Chemistry and minored in Biology. After spending one year as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year back in Seattle helping tutor kids in 8th-grade math, I went to Drexel University College of Medicine and received my Master of Science degree. The next year, I stayed at Drexel and began medical school. I enjoy playing and watching basketball, exploring new areas I haven’t been to before and trying different types of food.
