Maryellen Schroeder, MD, MPH is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the UPMC St. Margaret Family Practice Residency Program. She completed a faculty development fellowship and obtained a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology.
She maintains an active practice in addition to her teaching role, with special interests in pediatrics and office procedures.
Dr. Schroeder is married and has four children. She and her husband, who is not in medicine, are avid Star Trek and science fiction junkies.
