Lauren Fasth PharmD

  • Geriatric Pharmacy Resident, First Year

I am originally from San Francisco, California, and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. I attended Salem College, a women's college in North Carolina, for my undergraduate studies in biochemistry and mathematics. Following a gap year working in a community pharmacy, I earned my PharmD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). While at UNC, I developed passions for geriatrics and ambulatory care. I am excited to continue my training at UPMC St. Margaret as a PGY1 on the geriatrics track!

My professional interests include deprescribing, osteoporosis/bone health, transitions of care, and research. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy baking, attending plays/musicals, traveling, and spending time with my twin sister.
