Ariel Badger, MD

  • Family Medicine

Originally from northern California, where my love for the outdoors was cultivated, I received a degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Then, I skipped across the country to complete a graduate degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University. Afterward, I worked in medical research for five years, while also tutoring and mentoring students part-time. At Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where I received my medical degree, my desire to provide comprehensive, high-quality, and evidence-based medical care for every member of the family unit led me to family medicine. My interests in medicine include lifestyle medicine, integrative medicine, chronic disease management, underserved care, medical education, and research. Outside of medicine, you can find me hiking, enjoying water activities, gaming, playing piano or guitar, baking Asian pastries, learning a new language, studying the Bible, writing short stories, or spending time with loved ones.
