Amy Wang, DO

  • Family Medicine

Originally from Poughkeepsie, New York, I have spent time bouncing across the country but am excited to start this next chapter in Pittsburgh. I completed my undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, which I followed with a Master of Public Health degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. My public health focus was in community health sciences; in particular, I studied the impact of multidisciplinary interventions on long-term health outcomes. I completed medical school at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, where I focused on primary care healthcare and accessible patient education. This training continues in my practice as a family medicine doctor, where my goal is to build collaborative relationships with my patients and colleagues to support healthy communities. Outside of medicine, I enjoy gardening, knitting, and trying new recipes.
