I grew up one hour north of Philadelphia in Coopersburg, PA (Go Birds!). I decided I had to move near Pittsburgh after falling in love with the area when I attended the local Washington & Jefferson College. At W&J, I majored in economics, sang in college choirs, and met my wonderful wife Brie. I then attended medical school at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia. Outside of medicine, you can find me playing the piano/guitar, running, hiking, cooking, and making pasta. My interests in family medicine include rural medicine, hospital medicine, addiction medicine, and health economics.
I am ecstatic to spend my next three years at UPMC St Margaret and intend to practice rural medicine in Western Pennsylvania.
