The Board of Directors of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine has selected Dr. Donald Middleton to receive the 2022 STFM Excellence in Education Award.
This award honors you as an exemplary medical educator that has demonstrated excellence in family medicine education through your teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, and leadership in education on local, regional, and national levels. You are honored for your well-known work on immunization education, including developing the STFM/AAFP Shots app, leadership of the STFM Group on Immunization Education, collaboration with the AAP, and multiple publications on immunization and immunization education.
The award will be presented to him during the Spring STFM Conference. Congratulations, Dr. Middleton!
