We had our annual flu vaccine drive for our Somali Bantu community and vaccinated around 100 individuals!
Our residents also performed a needs-assessment and provided hundreds of much needed diapers, children’s clothing, and hygiene items.
Grants also allowed us to provide $1000 worth of gift cards to Target and Walmart so families could buy anything else they needed.
We also made educational handouts tailored to the needs of the community.
The best part was seeing attendees finding their resident PCP and other providers from clinic and be able to laugh and embrace outside of the walls of our healthcare system.
