Jessica Hao MD

  • Fourth Year

I was born in Beijing, China, and grew up in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and Shanghai, China. I first came to the US to attend college at Princeton University where I studied psychology and linguistics. I attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis where I received a Master’s in Population Health Sciences and my MD degree. In the world of medicine, my interests include innovation in behavioral healthcare delivery, the promotion of health equity through public policy, and the intersection of medicine with broader issues of social justice. Outside of medicine, I am an avid open-water swimmer and triathlete, love cooking and eating out in equal measure, and enjoy rock concerts and enamel pins like a true 2000s scene kid. I am a Detroit Red Wings fan, wife to a Fantasy Football statistics-generating machine and the world’s biggest New England Patriots fan, proud big sister to a hockey-playing, video-gaming, high school-aged meme-generating machine, and mom to two adopted black lab mixes.
