Mary Pat Friedlander, MD

Mary Pat Friedlander, MD received her undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Rochester. She then came to the University of Pittsburgh for her medical degree. Dr. Friedlander graduated from the UPMC St Margaret’s Family Medicine Program in 2003. After serving 4 years in the United States Air Force, she returned to Pittsburgh and joined the full-time faculty of her alma mater in 2010. 

Professionally, Dr. Friedlander has interests in vaccines and women’s health care. Personally, she spends time with her husband, Eric, and two children, Liam and Hannah. They as a family enjoy twice-yearly trips to Disney Parks to spend time with Mickey Mouse.  She also enjoys swimming and running and belongs to two book groups so she can keep her interest in reading fulfilled.
