Gretchen Shelesky, MD MS is a Family Physician who sees patients at the Bloomfield-Garfield Family Health Care Center. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC St Margaret Family Medicine Residency. She completed her Faculty Development Fellowship with a master of medical education from the University of Pittsburgh. She is the director of the UPMC St Margaret and University of Pittsburgh Faculty Development Fellowship and the Associate Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Scranton, Scranton PA. Her interests include educational research, teaching and learning techniques, and using games in teaching.

Outside of medicine, she is blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. She owns, teaches, and dances at a local dance studio that has a special needs program, one of the only programs like that in the greater Pittsburgh area.
