Dr. Yuan is a board-certified family physician and geriatrician at UPMC St. Margaret. He earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA in 2006. He completed a family medicine residency, including a chief year, at Chestnut Hill Family Practice in 2009. Following this he completed the faculty development and geriatrics fellowships at St. Margaret’s hospital, obtaining a Master's in Medical Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
He currently is the program director of the geriatrics fellowship at UPMC St. Margaret’s. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, running, and playing soccer.
