How To Apply

Our program is a participant in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Once your application and credentials have been reviewed/approved by our faculty committee, our recruitment coordinator will email you an interview invitation.

We believe that the UPMC St. Margaret Family Medicine Residency Program is a special program in a special place. We want you to come see for yourself, and we are looking forward to meeting you!

Interview Day:

The evening before interview day: Dinner with family medicine residents

8:30 am Overview of the Family Medicine Residency Program with the Program Director

9:00 am Interview with family medicine faculty

9:30 am Interview with family medicine faculty

10:00 am Tour of UPMC St. Margaret

10:30 am Inpatient Teaching Rounds with the Family Medicine Residents

11:30 am Lunch and Progress Rounds with first year Family Medicine Residents

1:00 pm Tour of the Lawrenceville Family Health Center and the Bloomfield Garfield

     Family Health Center with a faculty member

2:30 pm Exit interview with the Program Director
