Hello! My name is Thomas (Tom) Rubino, and I am ecstatic to be a UPMC St. Margaret Family Medicine Resident! I'm from Monaca, PA, about 45 minutes downriver from Aspinwall. I attended Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, where I majored in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry. I was privileged to attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where I fell in love with family medicine for the longitudinal relationships, continuity of care, the breadth of caring for every demographic, and the privilege of being a trusted advocate.
I'm particularly interested in full-spectrum family medicine with obstetrics and serving underserved communities. I am driven by my faith, which has guided me down this path and informs my desire to provide compassionate patient care. Outside of medicine, I'm a diehard Steelers (Here We Go!) and Pitt Panthers (H2P) fan. I love to sing and play guitar, work out/play sports, watch thriller movies, travel, and try new restaurants.
