Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, I came to the US after graduating from Chonnam National University College of Medicine. I was lucky enough to work at the 9th Street Free Clinic in McKeesport, PA for two years, where I proudly served underprivileged populations. Medical education and underserved care are the most exciting areas I intend to explore, but I want to immerse myself in the boundless ocean of family medicine during my residency!
Outside of medicine, my hobbies of dancing and working out keep getting interrupted these days by my 1 year old little peanut, Hari. I can never get enough of her! I’m also the mom of my group of friends. I love feeding my friends the Korean food that I cook. I honestly don’t know how to cook in small portions, so if you ever want to try Korean food, I’m the one to look for!
