Hi everyone, my name is Maushmi! I am originally from West Bloomfield, Michigan; I also lived in India for a few years when I was younger. I received my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and then stayed in the Central New York area for medical school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. One of my favorite parts of family medicine is the continuity, getting to know my patients throughout my lifetime and theirs. Outside of family medicine, I love to bake. I make a lot of vegan cookies and have more recently started making sourdough bread. I also like to go for walks and cook with my fiancé, Matt, and am excited to start wedding planning this year.
