Hillery Downey PharmD

Hi everyone, my name is Hillery! I'm originally from Buffalo, New York (Go Bills and Go Sabres!) and earned both my bachelor's degree and PharmD from the University at Buffalo. Some of my favorite pharmacy school memories include attending our annual galas and traveling to Jamaica on a medical mission trip. Before residency, I worked at Wegmans Food Markets for five years as a pharmacy technician and pharmacy intern, where I discovered my passion for patient care (patiently waiting for Wegmans to open in Pittsburgh). Through my experiences, I developed a strong interest in chronic disease state management and forming long-term connections with patients.

I'm excited to be a part of the collaborative team at St. Margaret, continue growing as an ambulatory care pharmacist, and explore everything Pittsburgh has to offer. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy trying new restaurants, hiking, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.
