Hi, I'm Erica! I am from Whittier, California, and received my PharmD from Midwestern University in Arizona. Throughout pharmacy school, I developed interests in geriatrics, chronic disease management, and improving medication adherence in special populations. I am passionate about working directly with patients to improve their health and well-being while serving as both a patient advocate and a bridge of communication between patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team. I look forward to growing my clinical skills as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at UPMC St. Margaret on the Geriatrics Track. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy trying new restaurants, going on road trips, traveling, collecting Smiskis, watching movies, and am a huge fan of Disney.
