Elisabeth Marker, PharmD

  • Geriatric Pharmacy Resident, Second Year

I’m originally from Minneapolis, MN, and pursued my Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI. After graduation, I worked for almost seven years in regulatory affairs for 3M’s Health Care business before relocating to Richmond, VA. I received my Pharm.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University where I developed a passion for working with and advocating for older adults, especially in the primary care setting. My professional interests include deprescribing/polypharmacy, fall prevention, and pain management. My partner Tim and I have two cats, an orange tripod troublemaker named Chopper and a tuxedoed snuggle-bug named Lira. In my free time, I enjoy easy hikes, exploring craft breweries and distilleries, and playing euchre.
