Amari Parham MD

  • Family Medicine Resident

Hello everyone, my name is Amari! I grew up in Lilburn, Georgia, and went to Georgia State University, where I earned my degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Spanish. I then moved to Maryland to attend the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and now I'm beyond excited to be in Pennsylvania starting residency!

I completed an away rotation at St. Margaret's and absolutely loved it. I felt so welcomed by the faculty and residents, and it was clear right away that this was a great environment to learn and grow. I was also drawn to the program's strong inpatient and outpatient training, along with the opportunities to explore my interests in sports medicine, lifestyle medicine, and FM OB, and its emphasis on continuity of care and building real relationships with patients across every stage of life.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy running, training in jiujitsu, strength training, and trying (with mixed success) to keep my plants alive. I also love exploring new coffee shops and cuisines, traveling, playing a good farming or adventure game on my Switch or PS5, and spending time with family and friends. I cannot wait to start this next chapter at St. Margaret's and grow alongside such an incredible team!
