Biography
Ann L. McGaffey, MD received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Oregon School of Medicine and did 15 months of general practice in an Idaho migrant health center following a flexible internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

She completed her residency and a one-year fellowship in family medicine at UPMC St. Margaret.

Dr. McGaffey coordinates UPMC St. Margaret’s school health partnership and maintains a part-time inner city based private practice. Along with Dr. Schroeder, she is the author of two books on sexuality education for pre-teenagers. She is married and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and playing sports.
