Mary Pat Friedlander, MD received her undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolution from University of Rochester. She then came to University of Pittsburgh for her medical degree. Dr. Friedlander graduated from the UPMC St Margaret’s Family Medicine Program in 2003. After serving 4 years in the United States Air Force, she returned to Pittsburgh and joined full time faculty of her alma mater in 2010.
Professionally, Dr. Friedlander has interests in vaccines and women’s health care. Personally, she spends time with her husband, Eric and two children, Liam and Hannah. She also enjoys swimming and running and belongs to two book groups so she can keep her interest in reading fulfilled.
