Gretchen Shelesky, MD MS is a Family Physician who sees patients at the Bloomfield-Garfield Family Health Care Center where she is the assistant director. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC St Margaret Family Medicine Residency. She completed her Faculty Development Fellowship with a masters of medical education from the University of Pittsburgh. She is the director of medical student education and oversee medical students on rotation at UPMC St Margaret. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Scranton, Scranton PA. Her interests include educational research and point-of-care resources.
Outside of medicine, she is blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. She owns, teaches, and dances at a local dance studio which has a special needs program, one of the only programs like that in the greater Pittsburgh area.
