| The Interview Process |
| |
| |
Once your application and credentials (see application instructions) have been reviewed/approved by our faculty committee, our recruitment coordinator will mail you an interview invitation. Individual travel and hotel arrangements can then be arranged by phone and a written confirmation will be sent prior to your interview.
A typical interview day looks something like this:
9:00am- Meet with a member of the Medical Faculty (continental breakfast included)
9:30am- Meet with a member of our Behavioral Science Faculty
10:30am- Inpatient Teaching Rounds with Family Practice Residents and Faculty
11:30am- Hospital tour with senior resident
12:00pm- Lunch with First Year Resident(s)
12:45pm- Progress Rounds
1:30pm-3:30pm- Tour of Family Health Centers and Meeting with a Program Director
4:30- Exit Interview with the Director of the Family Medicine Residency
Recommended Activities: Dinner with Family Medicine Resident
